Daniel Palillo

Helsinki-based designer and artist Daniel Palillo, with his fashion brand of the same name, has been a renowned and influential actor in the Finnish underground fashion scene already for over a decade. Through his inimitable design, Palillo has achieved widespread reputation and created a stable customer base for his distinctive clothing lines in European, American and especially Asian market.

Innovative over-sized shapes and three-dimensional structures combined with the use of morbid yet playful graphics play an essential role in Daniel Palillo’s signature aesthetics. Street-credible, yet high quality designs are coated with a dose of black humor and symbols emerging from his imagination. The most recent collection takes the trademark patchworks and cutouts on another level, stretching in both shape and size.

Daniel Palillo studied fashion design in the School of Arts and Design, and sold the first line carrying his name in 2006 while still being an art student. He has been collaborating with numerous multi-disciplinary projects in the field of fashion, illustration, styling and design at large. In 2011, Palillo expanded his design practice to children's clothes with the collection Daniel Palillo Kids.
