DIALOGUES – Creating New Textile Futures brought together leading universities from Finland and the United States to reimagine the landscape of textile and fashion industries of tomorrow.

The DIALOGUES -exhibition and project – showcasing works in textile design by students at Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture and Parsons School of Design – took place November 2022 in New York. The exhibition presented curated textile design works in various fields such as fashion, interior, art and science, with a focus on research and future solutions. The exhibition was on view from November 2nd to the 6th, with a seminar organized in conjunction with the project, taking place at Parsons School of Design, moderated by Laird Borelli-Person from Vogue.

Dialogues was supported by The Finnish Cultural Institute in New York, The Consulate General of Finland in New York, Juni Communications, and New York Textile Month.
