Become a Patron with the Finnish Cultural Institute in New York
Patrons sustain the mission of the Finnish Cultural Institute in New York while connecting with a vital network of supporters invested in cross-cultural dialogue through contemporary art, design, and architecture.
Members of our Koski, Ahti, Aalto, and Saari circles receive access to Patron events, exclusive studio visits with Artists-in-Residence, advance FCINY publications, gallery tours, unique travel opportunities, commissioned works from designers and Artists-in-Residence, and more.
Through 2020, all new Patrons will receive a unique gift and an invitation to the Helsinki Biennial alongside the Finnish Cultural Institute in New York.

Koski Circle

Our patron community Koski (Stream) refers to a flowing stream of water, as well as contemporary designer Harri Koskinen.
Like Koskinen's designs, members of our Koski Circle support the Institute by honoring innovation, building the potential for new art, design, and architecture and moving the mission forward.

Ahti Circle
From $1,500
Our patron community Ahti takes its name from the king of Ahtola who answers the call as we weave our nets and cast our seine. It also pays respect to Eija-Liisa Ahtila, contemporary visual artist and filmmaker.
Members of the Ahti Circle gain access to the Institute’s programs, artist interviews, advance publications, and exclusive patron events.

Aalto Circle

Our patron community Aalto (Wave) reflects Alvar and Aino Aalto, modern architects and designers known as pioneers and influencers in their fields.
Members of the Aalto Circle are creating massive waves, shaping programs from the ground up. As a member of the Aalto Circle, your level of investment in the work provides access to every element of the Institute - from the studio floor to the finished piece.

Saari Circle

Our patron community Saari (Island) pays homage to Eliel and Eero Saarinen, the modern architect and designer family.
Their forward-thinking vision resonates within our Saari Circle, as patrons intimately engage with new pieces, connect directly with FCINY leadership, and support the Institute’s growth.
